Our editorial standard
Before publishing objective product or health-related statements, Broadway Nutrition aims to identify the express and reasonably implied message, verify the underlying facts and keep the wording within the support available for the specific product or ingredient.
- Store facts—including address, hours, phone numbers, product sizes and prices—are checked against current business records and menu information.
- Nutrition facts are based on recipes, product labels or manufacturer documentation and are qualified when customization can change the result.
- Structure/function or general-wellness language is used only when the statement is appropriately supported, truthful and not misleading.
- Disease claims and guarantees are not approved for publication. We do not claim that a food, beverage, supplement or coaching service diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents disease.
- Testimonials and transformation stories must reflect a real person's experience, disclose material relationships when applicable and must not imply that unusual results are typical or guaranteed.
Product brands and approved claims
Broadway Nutrition is an independently owned local nutrition shop and is not operated by Herbalife corporate. The shop may use Herbalife products or ingredients. We do not make the Herbalife brand the primary promotion of Broadway Nutrition.
A product or brand name may be used when it is reasonably necessary to identify an ingredient, answer a customer question or reproduce an approved manufacturer statement. Manufacturer language is still reviewed in context: a disclaimer does not repair a claim that would otherwise be false, misleading or unsupported.
Language we avoid
- Promises of guaranteed weight loss, fat loss, body transformation or other specific results.
- Claims that a drink or supplement replaces medical treatment or is equivalent to an approved drug.
- Unqualified claims such as “no crash,” “no jitters,” “detox,” “fat burner” or “boosts metabolism” unless the exact statement and context have appropriate, product-specific support.
- Before-and-after content that is altered, misleading, unrepresentative or missing a clear results-vary disclosure.
Sources, corrections and review
We prioritize current product labels and documentation, authoritative government guidance and reliable scientific evidence relevant to the specific claim. Content is reviewed before publication and revisited when a product, recipe, source, business fact or applicable standard changes.
